Mostly I did it in the bathroom, a few times in bed.
Do you have to hide your whole arm(s) (wrists, forearms & upper arms, etc.)?
I don’t have any noticeable ones on my arms.
Do you have to wear long-sleeves & long-pants all the time?
I had to wear longer shorts I used to do it really bad on my upper thighs. But since my parents now know they said I don’t have to hide it…so now I can wear normal bathing suits xD
Do you cut on your stomach, or chest?
I cut my left side wear your underwear would cover. But not my chest or stomach.
Are your legs, arms, & other body parts covered in scars?
Just my thighs, & the top part of where my underwear would be.
What’s your favorite excuse to use when someone asks about a cut?
I have said before…”I got hurt” …”Nothing”…or… “What do you think?”
Have you ever been hospitalized because of your cutting?
Was very close…but only because my school found out and told my parents and they all thought that would be best for me. But we couldn’t afford it so I had to promise to see the councilor everyday.
Off the top of your head, about how many scars do you have?
About 8 big ones (half an inch wide)…20 smaller ones. Others are now mostly faded.

Yup.
Who knows you cut?
Originally just a few best friends , but the friends weren’t trust worthy, and so everyone found out. Then most of the teachers, and the intermediate family

I was never caught.
Have your parents ever confronted you about a bloody sleeve, or towel?
Yeah.
Did you have a good childhood?
it was okay. Divorced parents. Fighting. But nothing to bad
Why do you cut?
True fully….I was copying a friend. I had done it before but it was nothing. After my friend and me did it. Many things started happening in my life. I got depressed. I was on suicide watch. Then I started feeling better but I wasn’t better. I still had those feelings. Then I did it one more time and it became an addiction. I couldn’t stop. Then when my parents found out I tried hiding it better and doing other things to make me feel better.
Have you ever talked to a therapist or counselor?
Yes a few. One was given to me by the state. The other was a school councilor.
Do you want to stop cutting (but can’t because of addiction)?
Yes. Its still hard for me. I’m getting better its been two months. I am living life and feeling more and more happy about things. Cause I’m going places.
Do you like cutting?
i did. i felt comfortable in the knowledge that life or death was in the palm of my hand, and i was in control of my fate.
How many times have you tried to commit suicide?
I tried only a few times. 4 times that I remember. Death to me wasn’t something I wanted but a few times. I was scared if I killed myself I was going to hell. So living would be better then suffering even more.
What are your views on cutting, and other self-injury?
I don’t like other people doing it..
Do you like watching movies with self-injury?
Yes, but I didn’t know it was that kinda movie till after the movie started.
Do you like looking at pictures of self-injury?
Yes, it made me feel not alone.
Do you sometimes envy other people (non-self-injurers)?
I don’t think I ever did.
Have you ever taken any pictures of your cuts/scars?
I did. I just kept a file on my phone of the pictures. I dont know why…just to compare my cuts the the ones I was doing at the time.
Do you want to die?
I wanted to at times, but I was also very scarred of death.
Have you ever done a school assignment on cutting, or self-injury?
Nope.
What do you like to listen to while cutting/depression/etc.?
No music. Just the sound of water.
Have you ever needed stitches from cutting?
My best friend said I should have gotten stitches for a few of them. I don’t think they were too too bad.

About dying not cutting
What do you use to bandage your cuts?
I usually put band aids till they were done bleeding then let them heal without anything on top of them
